Signaler/Slinger N402

This training is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to safely direct lifting operations and communicate effectively with crane operators using approved signaling methods.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the roles and responsibilities of a Slinger/Signaler.
• Identify lifting equipment and accessories and their safe applications.
• Conduct pre-use inspections of lifting gear.
• Estimate load weights and identify the center of gravity.
• Plan safe lifting operations, including exclusion zones and hazard identification.
• Secure and guide loads using standard hand signals and radio communication.
• Comply with industry regulations and NPORS safety standards.

Participants are assessed through both theoretical and practical evaluations.
