Course Overview

This course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to identify, monitor, and respond to H₂S hazards, ensuring safe work practices and emergency preparedness in high-risk environments.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the properties, hazards, and sources of H₂S.
  • Identify H₂S risks in industrial work environments.
  • Recognize the signs and health effects of H₂S exposure.
  • Use H₂S gas detection and personal monitoring equipment correctly.
  • Apply safe work practices and exposure control measures.
  • Use appropriate PPE, including respirators and SCBA.
  • Respond effectively to H₂S emergencies and evacuation procedures.

Participants are assessed through both theoretical and practical evaluations.
