Course Overview

This course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to identify, prevent, and manage dropped object hazards, helping reduce workplace incidents and improve safety in high-risk environments.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify common dropped object hazards and their causes.
  • Understand the risks and consequences of dropped object incidents.
  • Apply effective dropped object prevention and control measures.
  • Conduct basic risk assessments for work-at-height activities.
  • Implement safe work practices, including proper tool tethering and equipment securing.
  • Understand the role of PPE in protecting against dropped object hazards.
  • Comply with industry safety standards and reporting procedures.
