Prerequisites
Participants should have a basic understanding of crane operations and lifting activities, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Course Objectives
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Understand lifting regulations, legislation, and industry standards.
- Plan and manage safe lifting and work-at-height operations.
- Select, inspect, and use lifting equipment and accessories correctly.
- Identify the roles and responsibilities of lifting personnel.
- Plan different types of lifting operations.
- Apply proper reporting and documentation procedures.
- Understand crane capabilities and limitations.
Target Audience
This course is ideal for Lifting Superintendents, Appointed Persons (AP), CPLOs, Lift Supervisors, QA/QC Engineers, HSE Engineers, Site Lifting Specialists, Supervisors, and Project Engineers involved in lifting operations.
