This Scaffold inspector training is designed to equip delegates with the employer’s statutory obligation to have competent persons to inspect and complete reports on scaffolds in the workplace therefore competent in scaffold inspection and supervision

At the end of the course delegates should be able to:-

• Understand the requirements of the legislation applicable to scaffolding and the employer’s duties and responsibilities.
• Understand the basic scaffolding components and the principles of safe systems of work during erection and dismantling.
• Carrying out inspections of scaffolds including finding faults.
• Complete a scaffold inspection report.

Candidates are assessed both theoretically and practically in the course of the training against the requisite course objectives. [Course content not vetted by IADC as part of DIT accreditation]
