Course Level

Two levels are available regardless of the desired discipline;

  • Level 2 – Introductory Stage
  • Level 3 – Service Equipment Operators
  • Level 4 – Well Intervention Supervisors

Compulsory Requirements by IWCF

By IWCF standards, all candidates are expected to attend compulsory Completion and Principle & Procedures papers:

Completions

  • Well barriers and containment devices
  • Completion equipment
  • Flow control devices
  • Pressure testing

Principles & Procedures

  • Pressure and volume calculations
  • Barrier principles
  • Well conditions
  • Kill methods

Optional Requirements

Optional test papers include the Wire line, Coiled Tubing and Snubbing:

  • Pressure control equipment
  • Barrier elements
  • Pressure control during operations
  • Pressure testing
  • Contingencies

Other Useful Information

The programs comprise separate sets of tests for the above options. To obtain a certificate, candidates must achieve a minimum mark of 70% in each section of the test program.
