Course Objective

This course is designed to equip participants with the skills to:

  • Conduct pre-use inspections of forklifts in line with manufacturers’ specifications and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrate proper fueling and battery charging techniques.
  • Identify different types and characteristics of forklifts and understand the hazards associated with each.
  • Recognize and explain the forklift stability triangle.
  • Apply knowledge to basic driving principles, stability control, and load handling with confidence.

This course is ideal for: Lifting Superintendents, Supervisors, Logistics Controllers, Crane Operators, Riggers, Deck Foremen, Roustabouts/Roughnecks, Quayside Personnel, Yard Crews, and freshers with no previous experience or training.
