The Abrasive Wheel Safety Training Course provides comprehensive instruction on the safe use and handling of abrasive wheels. The course features practical exercises and demonstrations, covering everything from the identification of different types of wheels, their specific uses, to proper mounting techniques and the prevention of accidents during operation.

Course Objectives
Upon completion of the Abrasive Wheel Safety Training Course, participants should be able to:

• Understand the risks associated with abrasive wheels and grinding operations.
• Identify different types of abrasive wheels and their applications.
• Understand the legal requirements for safe use and handling of abrasive wheels.
• Demonstrate correct selection and mounting of wheels for different grinding operations.
• Carry out pre-use checks to ensure equipment safety.
• Demonstrate safe operating procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Understand wheel storage, handling, and maintenance to ensure longevity and safety.
• Recognize wheel defects and dangers and how to respond appropriately.
• Complete an abrasive wheel safety checklist before, during, and after use.

Participants who successfully demonstrate competence in safe wheel handling and complete the course assessment will receive certification.
