Confined Space Entry

Course Objectives
Delegates completing the Confined Space Entry course will be able to:

  • Identify the characteristics and hazards associated with confined spaces, understanding the risks involved in entering these areas.
  • Understand the key elements of a confined space entry program, including risk assessment, planning, and necessary safety precautions to ensure a safe entry.
  • Recognize the primary roles and responsibilities of authorized entrants, attendants, and supervisors, ensuring effective communication and coordination during confined space operations.
  • Develop and implement effective emergency rescue procedures for confined space incidents, ensuring a timely and safe response in the event of an emergency.
  • Master the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety measures, ensuring that all entrants are equipped to safely operate within confined spaces.
  • Understand and apply monitoring techniques to assess air quality and other environmental factors in confined spaces, reducing the risk of exposure to hazardous conditions.

Instructor led virtual Training via Microsoft Teams/Zoom/Google Meet.

Course Prerequisite

  1. Access to a smart device with a stable internet connection.
  2. Must be 18 years and above.
  3. No previous experience or qualifications required.
