Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the roles and responsibilities of a Crane/Lift Supervisor.
• Identify lifting equipment and accessories and their safe applications.
• Interpret lifting plans, documentation, and operational requirements.
• Apply effective communication methods during lifting operations.
• Monitor the use of rated capacity indicators (RCIs) and anti-collision systems.
• Supervise equipment setup, lifting operations, and exclusion zones.
• Identify lifting hazards and implement effective risk control measures.
• Ensure load security, balance, and compliance with environmental and safety requirements.

Participants are assessed through both theoretical and practical evaluations in line with NPORS certification requirements.
