Course Overview

   

This course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to prevent fire incidents, coordinate emergency evacuations, and effectively manage workplace fire safety in line with industry regulations and best practices.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the roles and responsibilities of a Fire Warden/Marshal.
• Identify workplace fire hazards and implement preventive measures.
• Apply the principles of fire prevention and fire risk management.
• Conduct routine fire safety inspections and monitor emergency equipment.
• Coordinate fire drills and manage safe workplace evacuations.
• Demonstrate the correct use of fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment.
• Communicate effectively with emergency responders during fire incidents.
• Record, report, and investigate fire incidents and near misses.

Participants are assessed through both theoretical and practical evaluations.
